For Koumba Yasin, this is the first home she's had in years. The 52-year-old woman has struggled with homelessness for decades, most recently due to losing her job because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Vigil today at 5pm at 1904 N Charles St Baltimore, MD 21218 in remembrance of those lost and in solidarity with those resisting violence at the intersection of race and gender.
Hosted by The Chinatown Collective, BARS: Baltimore Asian Resistance in Solidarity & Baltimore Harm Reduction Coalition
We send our deepest condolences to coworkers, family and friends of the victims of the shooting. We stand in solidarity with Asian women who were targeted at the intersection of misogyny and racism. Asian women, Black and Brown women, migrants, sex workers, and people perceived as sex workers are made vulnerable to police and non police violence that stems from criminalization.

Outside my window now. It’s ridiculous that alcohol is legal and cannibis is not. I support HB32 for adult use legalization, with social justice provisions and expungement. https://t.co/C9Rw0wteFv
